Proper maintenance prolongs service life and enhances stability and machining quality of CNC equipment. Common maintenance notes are as follows: Regular cleaning: Routinely clean working area, guide rails and cutters to remove dust, cutting fluid residue and metal scraps.

Proper maintenance extends the service life of CNC machining equipment and improves its stability and processing quality. Here are common maintenance precautions:

  • Regular Cleaning
Clean the working area, guide rails, cutters and other parts regularly to remove dust, cutting fluid stains and metal scraps. Use suitable detergents and tools, and prevent lubricants or cleaners from entering the CNC system and circuit boards.
  • Lubrication Maintenance
Lubricate sliding guide rails, lead screws, spindles and other components on a regular basis. Apply and replace qualified lubricants in accordance with specified dosage and frequency.
  • Cutter Inspection and Replacement
Check tool wear routinely and replace damaged or severely worn cutters timely. Select and assemble tools properly to avoid damage to machines and workpieces caused by excessive cutting or tool failure.
  • Geometric Precision Inspection and Calibration
Inspect geometric precision including straightness, perpendicularity, parallelism and angles. Adjust deviations promptly to guarantee processing accuracy.
  • Normal Power Supply and Cooling System
Ensure stable operation of power supply and cooling systems. Check power circuits, cooling and pneumatic systems, and replace faulty parts to avoid operational failures.
  • Scheduled Maintenance
Carry out periodic maintenance as required by service manuals and actual usage, including filter replacement, cooler cleaning, sensor and hydraulic system calibration to maintain optimal working performance.
  • Records and Data Backup
Keep maintenance records covering date, items and service status. Back up machining programs and parameter data regularly against accidental loss.

Formulate targeted maintenance plans and operating rules based on equipment types and working conditions. Regular inspection and standardized operation effectively protect equipment and prolong its service life.
